Your excellency we rely on your leadership to be our shepherd in this time of persecution. This decision to appoint an interim president who is not of the faith and does not know the precepts of our church to lead the education institution of our church can have catastrophic consequences. Such a decision does not only affect one God fearing man but will affect the health of the Catholic Church in our community for many generations to come. We must get to the bottom of how such decisions come about and take action before it's too late. May God give you the courage, grace and wisdom in discerning this matter as our shepherd.

I am both disappointed with the lack of transparency and concerned for the diocese of Edmonton. It seemed like we have made such large strides in the past few years only for such outrageous events like this to take place by Newman. We, the Catholics in Edmonton, both expect and deserve better. |
